Last updated: 24 May 2026
1. Introduction
Arise & Shine ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Arise & Shine mobile application and the ariseandshine.app website (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and, optionally, your first name to personalize your experience.
- Waitlist sign-ups. If you join our launch waitlist, we collect the email address you submit so we can notify you about availability.
- Your content. Notes, reflections, alarm settings, and preferences you create are stored to provide the app's features. Where supported, this content is stored on your device and/or synced to your account.
- Support requests. If you contact us, we keep your message and contact details to respond and improve our help resources.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & analytics. We collect aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics about how the app is used (for example, which features are opened, crash reports, and device type and operating system version) to fix bugs and improve the Service.
- Device identifiers. Standard technical data such as app version and general device information may be processed to keep the Service reliable and secure.
Information from third parties
- App stores & payments. Purchases are handled by Apple. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never your full payment card details.
- Scripture content. Bible verses may be retrieved from public scripture APIs to display in the app. These requests do not include personally identifying account information.
3. How we use your information
